About the Course
This course provides structured training in well control and blowout prevention, covering how kicks are detected, how BOP stacks are configured and tested, and how kill sheet calculations are performed. It reinforces the practical skills drilling personnel need to respond safely to well control incidents.
Participants work through the Driller's Method and Wait and Weight well control methods, BOP testing requirements, and kill sheet exercises, building confidence in applying well control procedures under pressure.
