Accessibility Statement for Mentranus Training Center

Last updated: November 3, 2025

Mentranus Training Center is committed to making our website and online learning experiences accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We continually improve usability for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Standards we aim to meet

We strive to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our public website and learning content. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

What we’re doing

To support accessibility, we:

  • Use semantic HTML, proper headings, labels, and landmarks.

  • Maintain sufficient color contrast and scalable text.

  • Provide alt text for informative imagery and meaningful link text.

  • Support full keyboard navigation and visible focus states.

  • Avoid reliance on color alone to convey information.

  • Provide captions for most embedded videos and aim to include transcripts for audio.

  • Ensure forms have clear instructions, error identification, and accessible validation.

  • Test pages with assistive technologies and automated tools during updates and releases.

  • Train our content editors on accessible writing and media preparation.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Our site is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) and to work with common assistive technologies (screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition). Some older browsers or mobile operating systems may not fully support all features.

Technical specifications

Accessibility relies on:

  • HTML5, ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript following progressive enhancement.

  • Standards-compliant code where possible.
If you experience issues, please let us know which browser, assistive tech, and page you were using.

Third-party content

Our site may include third-party platforms (e.g., video players, maps, payment/registration systems). While we encourage vendors to meet WCAG 2.1 AA, we cannot guarantee their full compliance. We monitor these integrations and seek accessible alternatives when feasible.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may present barriers and are working to improve them:

  • Legacy PDF/Office files: Some older documents may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We can provide accessible versions on request.

  • Some video transcripts: A small number of videos may be missing transcripts. We’re actively adding them.

  • Occasional contrast or focus issues after new releases: If you encounter this, please report it and we will prioritize a fix.

If you find an issue not listed above, please tell us.
