About the Course
This course introduces the fundamentals of petroleum refining, giving participants a working understanding of how crude oil is separated and converted into finished products. It is designed for professionals new to refining or moving into refinery-adjacent roles.
Participants examine crude oil assay data, distillation and separation processes, and major conversion processes such as cracking and reforming, alongside treating and blending operations. Practical examples reinforce how each processing step contributes to final product quality and yield.
